Questions from operations
Do we have to replace our TOS?
No. PreGate complements the TOS. The connector for your TOS is built and accepted at your site.
Don't other products have these features?
They do: booking, OCR, multi-terminal use, notifications and dual moves are all on the market. Our position is joining the road, the park and yard acceptance in one explainable optimisation loop. That is not a claim of uniqueness.
What happens when the internet goes down?
A local edge layer keeps permitted transactions and the event log running. A transaction that needs a current TOS or customs permit does not proceed as if it had one. Power and network redundancy are designed per site. If the TOS is unreachable, the last known hold status is used and recorded.
Do drivers have to install an app?
The proposed scope is a responsive web page, a time-limited link and notifications. Critical steps ask for identity verification.
Can we use our existing cameras and barriers?
Compatibility is checked during site analysis. Device connections arrive with the Edge component.
Do hauliers pay?
The model follows the port's choice.
Where is the data kept?
Where you decide: on your servers, in a private cloud or both. KVKK and GDPR duties are worked out for each installation.
How reliable are the emission figures?
Measured and assumed values are labelled apart and the source of the emission factor is shown.
